![]() ![]() Never going back to this 10% experience holding hands with a gamepad, sorry. Then turn Air Link back on and try again If the issue persists, dont hesitate to reach out to our Support Team, and well be glad to help you out in the best way. Reboot your router, then your PC, and then your Quest 2, in that order. Maybe it's especially crappy for me since I used non-VR head tracking for decades and I'm a VR user since Oculus DK 1, which meant I started on gamepads but was so happy when Touch came out. Then, on your headset settings, ensure 'Air Link' is disabled/toggle off. Sadly gamepad is just a very crappy input method in VR. That said it's nice to see a mod like this happening. I've not played below zero, but from what I've heard from others: Below Zero wasn't as good as the first game, but not because it couldn't surpass the first but because the devs didn't understand what made the first game work in the first place, the story was missing, the world was built around quests and the world was less of a mystery to explore, everything came to you instead of you going. That said there's many things that make or break a VR experience like spatial audio etc. Option 1: Xbox one controller paired to pico 4 via virtual desktop, doesnt do anything (the normal vr controllers work though) Option 2: Xbox one controller paired to PC, the A button works, but I cant navigate or anything. Indeed, the universally beloved game with a VR mod allows players to feel like Jacques Cousteau in its immersive and ensorcelling underwater exploration on an alien planet. I'm not very keen on repeating the wikipedia here. I am trying to get the mod working with a xbox one controller, but Im not having much luck. Its difficult to happen across any best-of gaming compilation and not see the wildly popular Subnautica: Below Zero. ![]() I recommend reading up what virtual reality means for starters. This will make it easier for others to answer your question. Please provide a complete list of the features that, in your opinion, need to be included in a VR mod. Weight: 1.79 pounds Valve's Index headset is the latest and greatest in PC-based VR that will fill each of your eyeballs with 1,440 x 1,600 pixels at a refresh rate of 120Hz.Αναρτήθηκε αρχικά από Madfish:Is there a mod that doesn't just hack the viewport of the game and provides an actual VR experience including but but not limited to representing your hands in the actual game so you can interact with tools and objects using your real hands and not just a gamepad? Subnautica below zero starts on my monitor and I can still see the SteamVR black environment in my headset. Unfortunately i bought the early access version back then within Epic Games Store. Ive tried with both Airlink, Wired Link, and Virtual Desktop, all with SteamVR connected (I see the SteamVR environment in my headset). Refresh rate: 120Hz (144Hz experimental mode) Field of view: 130-degrees. i know with a VR MOD, Below Zero runs in the steam version. There is another that has a higher refresh rate at 120, the one above is refreshing at 80htz this one below is at 120htz BUT its resolution is lower. They smash the steam oculus one and pretty much all others out there also. You want the best, try these suckers, The Reverb G2's. If you think something needs to be added to the mod, code it yourself. You dont need motion controllers for everything, not all games are the same. VR has some really really strong points and it also has weak points where games just dont code dedicated for VR first and formost, which always leaves it a bit of a, what it could have been'', potential feeling playing many of these games with VR. The first Subnautica doesnt have an option for motion controllers and is still one of the most amazing experiences you can have in VR. Games like DCS, flight sims, you wont look back, NOTHING beats that heads up VR display, nothing, because its just like the real jet and the fly by wire system. Its an amazing experience if you havent tried it, go try it. At the same time, if you change the beta menu to legacy, then the above mods stop working, without which playing in VR is. But Nitrox does not support this version, which makes it impossible to play in multiplayer. Second is frame rate, refresh rate, frequency. I installed SubmersedVR0.1.6 and BepInEx and everything works fine on the current version of Subnautica. The best VR always boils down to a couple of main things, for me the first is resolution, and anything less than 4k per eye is pathetic but 8 k per eye is much better but sheeeeeesh do you pay out the nose for that stuff right now, VR is much trickier to master than most folks realise.
